An ink and color painting on silk depicts a two-tiered pavilion nestled against a rocky cliff. To our left, a gnarled tree with dense foliage hangs over the structure. Inside, small, robed figures gather, while two others traverse a path in the lower left. Faint mountain peaks rise in the background. Two columns of Chinese calligraphy and a red seal mark the right side against the muted, tan silk background.
