A turquoise faience vessel takes a bulbous, pear-shaped form tapering into a wide cylindrical neck. Two small lug handles flank its slightly flared rim. The vibrant blue-green surface is heavily weathered and granular, mottled with dark brown and black spots throughout. A ring of darker discoloration circles the base of the neck, highlighting the vessel's aged, pitted texture where light catches on the uneven edges of the glaze.
