An irregular, turquoise-glazed faience fragment with jagged, sandy edges is patterned with dark-purple lines. A speckled bird with an open beak flies leftward across the upper half. Below, bold lines suggest a boat or marsh environment, with another speckled form visible at the bottom left. The rough, unglazed tan material of the core is revealed where the blue glaze has broken away at the uneven borders.
