A turquoise blue faience amulet features a small, nearly square block with irregular, rounded edges. Its front face contains raised hieroglyphics, a pictorial writing system, including three stacked horizontal forms on the left and a vertical rectangular element on the right. The granular, porous surface is punctuated by scattered dark brown specks.
