A gold and calcite gesso bead features an elongated, teardrop-shaped body that tapers from a rounded top toward a narrow, blunt base. The surface displays a mottled bronze and gold color with a metallic sheen, marked by subtle indentations and textural irregularities. At the apex, a small circular opening allows for threading.
