A teardrop-shaped gold and gesso bead tapers from a rounded top to a narrow base. Crinkled gold leaf covers most of the reddish-brown core, which appears in worn, patchy areas. A small, dark opening is centered at the top. The surface features vertical creases in the gold leaf and a dark blemish near the bottom edge.
