A travertine and obsidian inlay mimics a stylized horizontal human eye. The almond-shaped white base tapers to a point on the left and a rounded edge on the right, marked by dark, mottled spots. At the center, a polished black obsidian disc with a flattened bottom edge curves outward. This speckled element reflects a single point of light, creating a stark contrast against the smooth, pale surface of the surrounding stone.
