A ceremonial hoe features a curved, dark wood head holding a narrow metal blade that extends downward. A small point juts from the back, and clusters of circular metal studs dot the side. The shaft is bound in ribbed copper alloy bands before transitioning into smooth, reddish-brown wood that tapers toward the end. The dark patina of the head contrasts with the metallic bands and the warm, polished wood handle.
