An iron and wood knife is encased in a rectangular rawhide sheath. The cylindrical handle is wrapped in horizontal bands of light-colored metal and topped by a conical, gold-toned cap. A flat, dark-gray metal plate with a small side ring caps the sheath. Below, the wrinkled tan rawhide body is decorated with three vertical rows of braided brown fiber and finished with a gold-toned metal band at the base.
