Did You Know?

Despite its small size the hilt and handle of this sword include numerous details, both figurative and geometric. Look for men on horseback, nude women, and a battle scene.
A small sword's dark steel hilt features a vertical grip wrapped in spiraling silver wire, ending in a rounded, ornate pommel. A curved knuckle guard containing a small female sculpture arcs toward a shallow, bowl-shaped hand guard. Below the grip, detailed carvings depict a figure on horseback above a face mask. The blade extends from the base, showing intricate, etched patterns along its center.
