An octagonal gold box features a hinged lid and side suspension loops. On the lid, a large raised ruby is encircled by radiating patterns of smaller red, green, and clear gems. Each side panel contains a central emerald or ruby bordered by smaller circular stones. Against a textured gold background, the dense arrangement of vibrant gems creates a lavish surface, secured at the front by a small curved latch.
