A vertically oriented ink and color painting depicts a landscape with multiple figure groups. Below, a waterfall flows at the lower left while two figures sit beneath a twisted pine at the right. Centrally, scholars in colorful robes gather around tables to write and read. A large, gnarled pine tree anchors the right side. Behind, green hills and hazy blue mountains rise toward an inscription and red seals in the upper left.
