A steel helmet ear piece features a curved vertical plate flaring into two overlapping plates at the base. Gold-toned brass rivets line the edges of the mottled, pitted gray surface. On the upper left, a flower-shaped ornament projects outward. A small circular hole sits at the bottom right corner. The weathered metal shows significant wear, blending functional protection with decorative gold accents.
