Neferiuhathor appears to place her left hand on Endeperi's shoulder but the chair overlapping her legs shows that she is seated at his left.

Description

Carved in raised relief, the inscription on this lintel is arranged in vertical columns, with the signs facing right. The tomb owner and his wife, labeled above as "the king's acquaintance, Neferiuhathor(?)" are seated together at the far left on a long chair or couch with bull's legs and a cushion but no back rest.

An offering that the king gives, and (an offering that) Anubis (gives), foremost (of the diving booth) (namely), a burial in the western necropolis (for) the lord of honor, the one honored before the great god, and that offerings of bread and beer go forth on the festival of Thoth, the wag-festival, the sadj-festival, the coming forth of Min, the monthly festival, the half-monthly festival, the opening of the year, the first of the year and the rekeh-festival of setting up the brazier(?) (for) the king's acquaintance, the overseer of the storehouse, Ensperi.

Inscription Remark

The layout, form, and arrangement of the signs exhibit numerous peculiarities, such as the group of wp rnpt tp tnpt with second year-sign reversed (column 8), and the strange determinative that appears twice in column 9, after rkh and again after the phrase that I have , no doubt, incorrectly translated as "setting up the brazier." In both cases it appears to take the place of the usual offering-table sign that appears after festivals (as here in column 5, after wag) and resembles an offering table seen from above.
