A vertically oriented lithograph depicts a woman with light skin tone standing on our right. Bare-chested with fabric draped around her legs, she faces left and holds a floral garland over a monument inscribed "STENDHAL MILANESE VISSE SCRISSE AMO." Large, feathered wings open behind her. Grainy, dark textures define the composition. Musical notation and handwritten script appear in the margins. Her stippled form contrasts with the shadowed, leafy background and stone tomb.
