A horizontally oriented etching in black ink on pale paper depicts a river landscape. On our left, dark trees with dense shading cast deep reflections. To our right, a flock of sheep huddles on a grassy bank. A small bridge spans the river toward distant buildings. Fine, scratched lines and birds fill the moody sky. Short, hurried marks and deep blacks define the scene. A signature sits in the bottom right corner.
