A horizontally oriented print in black ink depicts a sloping foreground rising to a dark mass of trees on the left. To the right, small buildings with a rounded tower nestle among slender, spindly trees. Large, puffy clouds fill the light sky. Fine, scratchy lines and dense cross-hatching create deep shadows in the lower half, while lighter, horizontal strokes define the atmosphere above the horizon.
