A horizontally oriented color lithograph in muted beige tones depicts a crowd gathered at a stone archway. On our left, women balance ceramic jars on their heads while a seated man rests beside a large jar. Figures with varied skin tones wearing robes cluster near the arch, while others on our right sit atop donkeys or hold tall spears. Blue and red garments punctuate the scene against the pale ground and stone wall.
