An octagonal, dome-shaped silver lid tapers to a tiered knob finial. Patterns of small circular piercings punctuate eight flat facets engraved with stylized flowers and curved leaf shapes. A molded ridge flares at the base above a plain, octagonal band. Tarnish darkens the recessed engravings and pierced holes, highlighting the decorative motifs against the reflective metal surface.
