A vertically oriented cast iron fire lining depicts low-relief decorations. At the bottom center, a nude woman facing us supports a fruit-filled basket on her head with raised arms. Symmetrical scrolling vines flank her. Above the basket, a wreath of oak leaves and acorns encircles a central shield-shaped element. A thin raised border frames the composition, which has a grainy, dark gray, pitted surface.
