An ink and wash drawing on a horizontal sheet shows two views. On our left, a spacious town square holds a tall central obelisk. Figures and carriages cross the open space toward a domed church and arched gateway. In our lower left foreground, figures rest near stone posts. On our right, faint gray graphite lines form an architectural sketch of curved and rectangular shapes on the light paper.
