A vertically oriented drypoint print with dense hatching and fine lines in black ink on cream paper depicts a man from the chest up. Facing forward with wide eyes, he has short wavy hair and a bushy, rounded beard. Shadows are created through deep hatching on the right side of his face. The lower composition remains blank, with a signature, A. Legros, visible in the bottom right corner.
