A vertically oriented etching and drypoint in black ink with fine, interlocking lines depicts a dense grove of tall trees. Thick, textured trunks on the left and center cast long shadows toward us across a sunlit foreground. A heavy canopy of leaves covers the top, while smaller trees recede into the distance. Handwritten notations and signatures appear at the bottom of the image and in the margin below.
