A vertically oriented graphite drawing with parallel, hatched lines depicts a woman with light skin tone standing and facing toward our right. She wears a headscarf and a full-length apron. Her head is bowed as she scatters feed toward two chickens. Streaks of pencil shade her clothing and the ground. Swaths of the scene are left without marks, showing the pale paper and a fluid signature in the bottom left.
