A matte gray silver ladle stands vertically, its long, slender handle topped by a circular ring and a shallow bowl at the base. Two four-legged animals stand atop the ring, facing each other with paws joined. Below them, the pitted metal tapers from a decorative collar into a thin rod that joins the rounded bowl's center. The weathered surface is dark and coarse, showing age and wear.
