Description

One of Vishnu's two wives, Shri, the goddess of abundance and good fortune, holds the lotus flower in her left hand.
A grainy granite sculpture depicts the goddess Shri wearing a layered headdress and standing on a circular lotus petal base. Jewelry wraps around her neck and waist, her figure visible through her thin garment as she rests her left hand on her hip. Her right hand is raised, holding a lotus bud. Facing forward with eyes open and mouth closed, she stands with bare feet. Fine grains of stone texture her detailed ornaments and form.
