This vertically oriented gum tempera painting features three light-skinned figures on a flat red ground scattered with white cloths. Centrally, one hangs upside down from a black pole. To our left, a figure raises a golden, paddle-shaped club; to our right, another holds a dark, circular shield overhead. Above, rolling green hills meet a dark blue sky with white cranes. A yellow band with black script stretches across the top edge.
