A rectangular porcelain box with a perforated lid rests on four short feet. The lid top features red flowers and green foliage within openwork cutouts. Along its sloping sides, a green and a blue dragon chase a pearl amidst colorful clouds. The lower body repeats the dragon motif in blue and red. Bands of blue and red scroll patterns separate the vessel's sections and mark the base and upper lid edges.
