Description

This print was published in Le Charivari (November 16, 1848) as plate 4 from the series The Banqueters.
A vertically oriented lithograph depicts three military men with light skin tones walking forward. They wear flowered hats and fringed shoulder pieces, each clutching a bouquet. The central man wears spectacles and a tall cylindrical hat. Flowers rain down from a hand at our top left and a figure on a balcony to our right. In the background, buildings and a crowd line the street. French text appears above and below the image.
