A hanging scroll depicts a black-inked plum tree with a textured trunk at the base, its branches reaching upward and scattered with small, gray ink blossoms. Thin, vertical stalks rise against the tan background, accented by varied tones of ink. A small red seal marks the lower left corner. Decorative patterned borders in green and gold frame the top and bottom edges of the monochromatic composition.
