A rectangular oak chest with a sloped lid features four front panels carved with central floral rosettes. Above, a band of arched patterns is punctuated by a heart-shaped metal keyplate and dark wood blocks. Similar dark accents mark the fluted legs, which terminate in black, bulbous feet. Beneath the panels, ornate carved brackets bridge the corners. Vertical grooves line the outer stiles, framing the central carvings of this burnished wood piece.
