A dark, reddish-brown stoneware vessel takes the form of a thick, horizontal crescent curving upward at the ends. The surface is rough and heavily textured with pits and horizontal ridges, resembling weathered bark. Patches of golden-brown ash glaze drip down the exterior, catching the light across the ridges. In the center, a wide, elliptical opening follows the vessel's curve, revealing a hollow interior and emphasizing its heavy, grounded presence.
