A bronze sculpture depicts a stag lying down, its body extending left while the head turns back over its shoulder. Four open loops arch into stylized antlers. A dark blue glass bead marks the eye, while circular indentations punctuate the animal's shoulder and haunch. The legs fold inward to rest on a horizontal base. The weathered, dark gray metal features rounded forms and recessed details highlighted by the play of light.
