A New York freelance photographer who lived and worked in Cleveland for many years, Abe Frajndlich has published his photographs in ARTnews, Life, the New York Times Magazine, and elsewhere. Although his early work was concerned with literary themes, Frajndlich's more recent images address abstract, purely visual issues. In Interior Number One, personal mementos and everyday objects found in the San Francisco studio of artist David Ireland are combined with the formal geometry and texture of the wall.
