A hanging scroll depicts a gnarled plum branch in ink washes on a vertical tan surface. Sweeping from the upper right, thick gray and black boughs curve downward, their rough texture defined by varied ink tones. Thin twigs emerge, sprinkled with pale circular flowers and dark buds. Delicate brushwork captures the translucence of individual petals against the minimalist background. A small red square seal sits in the upper left corner.
