Before working as a printmaker, François Houtin was renowned as a topiarist.
The work of François Houtin, a landscape architect, typically presents utopian gardens which have grown uninhibited by the world around them. This etching belongs to a set of 14 in which the artist invented charming gardener sheds that blend nature and architecture into imaginative designs.
