A horizontally oriented ink and color painting on paper depicts Krishna, a figure with a deep blue skin tone playing a flute while seated on the coiled, striped bodies of five serpents. From our left, five multicolored snake heads arch toward him. Red, pink, and yellow flowers on leafy stems fill background spaces between curved, striped bands. A wide pink border with a scalloped green inner edge frames the scene.
