A vertically oriented manuscript page features thirteen rows of fluid black Persian script within a rectangular panel. The calligraphy is framed by thin gold, red, and blue lines and topped by a faded heading. A small numeral marks the top left corner of the weathered tan paper. Plain, aged margins with frayed edges and light staining surround the central decorated column, where the elegant characters stand out against the unornamented background.
