A stoneware vessel takes a roughly spherical shape divided by a central horizontal seam. Its matte charcoal surface is mottled and textured with fine, white script-like scratches. A shimmering patch of metallic gold covers the upper half, dripping in thin streaks toward the base. Light catches on the vessel's rough, uneven finish, revealing variations in tone that suggest a scorched or weathered appearance.
