Description

San Xavier del Bac, in Tucson, Arizona, was founded as a Spanish Roman Catholic mission in 1692. The current church was constructed of stone and bricks between 1783 and 1797 in a Baroque architectural style. Baumann never made a print of the subject, only this tempera.
