A vertically oriented print depicts a man pulling and a woman pushing a furniture-laden cart toward our right. Frenetic strands of black ink define the bustling street scene, figures, and heap of belongings. Below the title "Déménagements," a decorative letter P containing a snail initiates a block of French text. Subdued green and tan washes accent the composition. Repeated, gestural strokes create the buildings in the background.
