Description

Like Christopher Ries and others of his generation, John Kuhn works with industrial produced optical glass to create geometric forms with intricate patterns of layered color. The resulting colors and imagery are reflected and refracted into a complex architecture.
Clear glass cube that sits on a flattened corner, where it meets the ground. At the center is a smaller cube dominated by square flecks of color, predominantly yellow, but also red, green, and blue, that refract through the rest of the cube in rainbow streaks.
