A vertically oriented etching depicts towering, ruined stone walls against a pale, washed sky. Dense, expressive dashes of ink convey thick foliage cascading over masonry towers in the center. In the lower left, a dark bridge with an arched opening spans toward the right, crossing over roiling terrain. Above, a flock of V-shaped birds drifts across the upper sky. At the bottom, cursive text identifies the site as Ragland Castle.
