A vertically oriented etching in black ink with dense, intricate lines depicts a cluster of massive trees. The primary trunks rise into a dark canopy of interlocking branches filling the upper half. Fine hatchings suggest sunlight filtering through foliage, casting long, dark shadows toward the left across the light ground. In the background, smaller trees recede into shadow beneath the overarching boughs. Sparse grass and light strokes gather at the base of the trunks.
