A vertically oriented wood engraving in black ink on cream paper depicts a dense forest with tall, slender trees, trunks extending vertically up the composition. Fine, hatched lines create a canopy where light filters through in bright, dappled patches onto the trunks and forest floor. Bottom center, three small, dark figures stand together at the base of the trunks. A handwritten signature and numbering are visible in the lower margin.
