A vertically oriented etching in black ink depicts Erasmus, an older man with light skin, in profile facing our left. Shaded with fine cross-hatching, he wears a dark cap and fur-collared robe while leaning over a desk to write. His right hand holds a quill above paper. A detailed, patterned textile with floral motifs hangs behind him. Cursive text at the bottom reads "Didier Erasme."
