A horizontally oriented etching in black ink with sparse, sketchy lines depicts a pastoral landscape. In the foreground, three sheep rest near a winding stream, while a grazing flock occupies the field on our left. Clustered stone houses sit before low hills. On our right, dense, diagonal hatching represents a dark bank of clouds in an expansive sky. Brief, delicate strokes define the rolling hills and distant vegetation.
