A horizontally oriented black ink print with fine, wiry strokes depicts a winding riverbank. To our left, the shoreline curves inward. On the right, dense scribbles and dark, crisscrossed lines create a thicket of trees. In the center, slender trunks stand behind a low, sketchy fence. Thin, repeated dashes and delicate, layered lines define the grass and foliage, leaving large areas of the light paper untouched.
