A vertically oriented intricate print in black ink depicts a man with light skin tone leaning on a staff to our right. He wears a hat and tunic, watching a flock of sheep crowd through a stone doorway. In the foreground to our left, a shaggy dog looks toward the herd. Dense cross-hatched lines create deep shadows inside the barn and define the textures of the stone walls and wool.
