Description

Mohdad’s series about children living through the Lebanese civil war in the late 1980s and early 1990s carried deep personal meaning for him. Eight years old when civil war broke out in 1973, he recalled “bombs, exile, fighting, and the death of close friends and acquaintances.” He turned to photography “to express my fears and worries. It was a sort of therapy.”
